UK sales of the revolutionary FLIR Systems ThermaCAMŽ E-Series infrared camera have now passed the two hundred mark and one distributor in particular has been responsible for a significant portion of these. This achievement has resulted in instrument supplier, Alpine Components being given the accolade of the FLIR Systems 'Distributor of the Year'. The company specialises in condition monitoring and the E-Series fit well into its product programme that also includes a range of ultrasonic leak detection equipment and infrared windows.

The introduction of the torch-style E series infrared cameras has brought affordable thermal imaging and measurement within reach of all engineering professionals. It sets the benchmark for standard features. The ThermaCAMŽ E-series remains the only entry-level infrared camera range to offer real-time image capture at 50Hz, interchangeable lenses and reporting software.

Demand for this product has naturally been very strong. High sensitivity extends its field of application well beyond utility, manufacturing, electrical and building sectors. The ThermaCAMŽ E-series is now being specified for medical and veterinary work too.
